Koscielny
Vermaelen
Song
Arteta
Rosicky
Walcott
RVP
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Vermaelen's been dodgy recently, so I wouldn't mind if Coquelin played at left-back. Bolton will GHEL it up, so having the control of Arteta and Rosicky would be a better option than a risky Ramsey.
Come on Arsenal.
Marc Overmars

I'd like Rosicky to have another chance as well. Arteta and Song sitting, and Rosicky being the creative force, a role he's rarely got to perform for us over the years.
But I fear Ramsey has become one of Wenger's favourites and I expect him to start.
Oxo first choice as standard.
Walnut did good today so he can stay.
Great to have Sagna back to provide some much needed reliability at the back.
1-2 to the Arsenal.

I thought Gibbs was back in training? Surely he's not broken again? If he's fit, TV and Kos in the middle. TV is wasted at FB and Merts could never play there.

Yes
Ramsey has been awful for a while now and Rosicky has looked good recently. Only CM we have imo that tries to speed things up.
Just needs goals to his game

Fair enough Ramsey hasn't been great recently. Played well today though in the second half.
I'd probably go with Rosicky against Bolton but I think he's pretty shite whereas Ramsey is a bit off form.

I can see Wenger starting Arshavin ahead of Ox for this one. I don't think he should, but I've got a feeling he will!
Reckon he'll give Ox a rest, keeping him fresh to start against Blackburn on Saturday and using it as a chance to give Arshavin a run out away from the boo boys! It'd be classic Arsene!!
The last injury set him so far back he's back in potty training:ilt:

i dont think i would start sagna for this game, dont think he is fit enough, played all of 5 minutes on sunday and then to get thrown in for two days later wont help. rather the coq or yenaris plays and sagna is a sub. dont want him injured cos we rushed him back

there is a difference though from five minutes at the end of a game and starting. think its too soon, loads of people moan at wenger for rushing players back or overplaying them and causing injuries yet so many want sagna to start after just five minutes, what happens if he breaks down after ten minutes? everyone will be on wengers case

So far, Bolton have only brought in one player this month - United States defender Tim Ream - and there is talk that there are a few teams interested in taking Kevin Davies off them, and Sunderland are definitely in for him.
I'd be concerned if I was a Wanderers fan because, although David Ngog had a blinder against Liverpool on 21 January, I'm not sure he can replicate that sort of form week in, week out.
As things stand, with the squad they have got, I still seriously think Bolton are going to get relegated.
You would think that, if he is entertaining the idea of letting Davies go, then Owen Coyle has got someone else lined up because, in the predicament they are in you don't make yourself weaker, but I guess we will find out soon enough.
The positive thing for Arsenal at the weekend was that, after being beaten by Fulham, Swansea and Manchester United, they came back so strongly from 2-0 down against Aston Villa in the FA Cup. That says a lot about the spirit of their side.
Arsenal will go to Bolton and let Wanderers play but those days of the Gunners going to the Reebok Stadium and being battered are long gone. I'm seeing a comfortable enough win for Arsenal.
Kurt Angle says: "I've not heard of that many teams, but TNA's UK office always rave about Arsenal - so they must win. But why are they allowed to play an Ox?"
Lawro's prediction: 0-2
Kurt Angle
Wonder if Gotze.cx will play central? Obviously Podolski will take Theo's place out wide.
We'll probably win because we're fucking annoying like that.

Lack of basic ability again, some of these players can't pass a ball even when there's zero pressure. The midfield doesn't have the ability to spot the forward pass. Song is bad today, so careless. Plus we've missed some great chances as always. Nothing much seems to have been fixed in the last few years.

Arteta - excellent. Oxlade - excellent. Theo - bad. Van Persie - good. Song - shit. Ramsey - shit. Kos - shit. Rest - ok.
A good manager would at least take Theo off now and put Benayoun on. Or even Henry. I would be a bit worried that we'd have one less player tracking back but I think his composure on the ball would help us score a few.
Rosicky for Ramsey is another obvious decision which would improve us.

ox has not been perfect i think his been average today
Actually, I forgot his rubbish miss. So scrap 'excellent' for 'good'. But still, he has done more than 'average'. He has been our biggest attacking threat. Carved out a couple of great chances (including a simple one-on-one that fell to Theo), and a couple of great runs where he has skipped past 2, 3 players with an end result. The most likely for us atm.

Arteta is class.
How did Theo miss that one on one. He could have done anything but kick it straight at the ginge
Ach will explain his miss
Actually, I forgot his rubbish miss. So scrap 'excellent' for 'good'. But still, he has done more than 'average'. He has been our biggest attacking threat. Carved out a couple of great chances (including a simple one-on-one that fell to Theo), and a couple of great runs where he has skipped past 2, 3 players with an end result. The most likely for us atm.
i know but excellent is pushing it, his had sloppy passes and shots but he will improve this half i reckon

Thugs.
The Redcar Rock, David Wheater, has his own ideas on how to stop the Gunners and their goal machine Robin van Persie. "He [Robin] is a great player, but you have to get stuck into them or they can hurt you," said Wheater, who was sent-off in the reverse fixture at the Emirates.

For Swindon Town maybe. Definitely not for us. However Arsene knows. If we miss 4th and RVP goes. Wenger will prob play him through the middle. Itll be like a new signing!.
