As supporters will probably be aware, due to transport issues in London, our home Premier League match against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 4th February is kicking off at the earlier time of 1pm.
As a result of these transport issues on Saturday 4th February, the Club has arranged a number of activities which will take place after the end of the match, in order to provide supporters with the opportunity to remain at the stadium after the match and avoid the inevitable congestion on the local transport system.
As part of TfL’s Tube Upgrade works, there will be NO SERVICE ON THE ENTIRE VICTORIA LINE on Saturday 4th February, so the stadium activities are aiming to relieve pressure on all local transport services immediately after the match.
The special activities taking place in and around Emirates Stadium after the Blackburn Rovers match on Saturday 4th February will include:
All stadium bars will remain open after the match, selling beer and soft drinks at reduced prices - £1.50 soft drinks. £3 a pint. £5 pint and a pie
Q&As with Arsenal Legends in the Lower Tier concourse and Club Level
The ‘JG Road Show’ will be open outside the stadium, offering interactive fun and games for children
Live music entertainment in the Lower Tier concourse
A penalty shoot-out will be open to all fans outside the stadium
All stadium TVs will be showing Sky Sports Soccer Saturday and BBC Final Score
The Arsenal Museum will remain open for an hour after the end of the match
All retail stores will be open until 5pm

ARSENE WENGER may rest Arsenal star Robin van Persie for tomorrow's clash with Blackburn. The Gunners chief is becoming increasingly concerned by the amount of games Van Persie, 28, is being forced to play. Should the 21-goal Dutchman line up for the home clash with Rovers, it would the striker's third match in seven days. Van Persie has started 22 of Arsenal's 23 league games in a rare injury-free season. Wenger is terrified he is pushing his star man to the limit but does not have many attacking options to choose from. Loanee Thierry Henry, who played 21 minutes as a sub in Wednesday's 0-0 with Bolton, still looks short of sharpness. With Moroccan frontman Marouane Chamakh yet to return from the African Nations Cup, the only other alternative is South Korean Ju-Young Park. Defender Kieran Gibbs is back in full training following a setback from hernia surgery and could come into the reckoning tomorrow.

Arsenal's winless run in the league continued at Bolton on Wednesday night but apart from some wasteful finishing, I'm not sure there was too much wrong with their performance.
The Gunners created stacks of chances and also kept a clean sheet, although Arsene Wenger might be a little concerned that it was Wanderers, rather than his side, who looked more like scoring in the last 20 minutes or so.
I'd expect them to see off Blackburn easily enough, although Rovers were very unlucky not to get anything out of their game with Newcastle on the same evening
If there was ever a game where they needed Yakubu to be available, it was that one. They missed a penalty and just did not have the rub of the green in front of goal.
Blackburn's Chris Samba says he wants to play again, although Steve Kean still left him out against the Magpies ( and has said he will not feature against Arsenal ). You can kind of understand Kean wanting to prove a point there but now would be a very good time to bring him back.
Rovers have got 15 games left and I would say to Samba 'keep us up and you can leave in the summer' - that way, everyone is happy.
Prediction: 2-0

Because Blackburn will score with every shot on target too.

Bollocks
2 tap-ins for Van Persie today but the assist for Oxlade's goal epitomises the quality in his game. It's a truly phenomenal scoring record that he has but he's so much more than what the stats show. He's hit the bar about 17 times going for the Bergkamp chip. When the ball is played into him, you just know he will pick the right option and play it perfectly. That sort of assurance is very rare - not just amongst Arsenal players, but with any group of players.

Walcott is an extremely limited player, but when the opposition leave a lot of space in behind and we have someone with the ability to pick him out (Song today's done that well) then he's very dangerous. However, whenever we face a decent opposition who realise this and play deep, his threat is nullified.

Hope RVP gets his hattrick. He's scored a brace so many times now he really should have more than just 2 to his name.

Chamberface's three goals have all been different so far, but all excellent.
The first was a long-ranger. The second was good link-up and a good left foot strike, the third was a good run, with great composure under pressure. When he starts pubbing in some +1s, he'll be pretty awesome.

Seriously mate you need to open your eyes a bit!
If Gerv had only put a few of his chances away, Theo would be have cushion cover with his name in it placed on the bench week in and out!
As a wide threat Gerv is head and shoulders ahead of Thro (and that has nothing to do with the unique size of his bonce!)
Van Persie can now fuck off
Come on Wenger use your brain and get Henry on
