Mostly FF under Linux. IE/FF under Windows depending on what I'm doing.

Tried others but Chrome is the fastest for me.

And here's a good tip for those who google a lot in their jobs - there's a way you can change your settings (regardless of browser) so that when you type something into the address bar, it automatically takes you to the top google result if it's an obvious match. Otherwise it just takes you to the search page.

e.g. on the address bar, if you type 'Arsenal' and then press enter, it'll take you to the Arsenal website. If you type in 'Arsenal fixtures BBC', it'll take you to the BBC page showing Arsenal fixtures. If you type in 'the best way to go from London to Peterborough' it'll take you to the google page of results because there's no obvious webpage for it.

I saw someone else at work had it and got the idea. Honestly it'll change your life. Time is money.

Check out this website to find out how to do it for your browser:

Yeah, Chrome.

So would that be the browser from the company that monitors all your details and actions and sticks them on a database for their partners to exploit you?

What's going to happen? People might send me adverts for things which, as they know I like porn what I like, might well be for things which I'm interested in?

Oh noes!

Google are taking over the world and they have my permission to. They know what they're doing.

I remember when I used to use Altavista as my go-to search engine in the 90's.
