Does anyone know about latest DVD's?

Hi all an elderly relative has asked me (as I know everything of course) to get her a list of the best buys for a DVD that will show photos on CD. The current Panasonic DVD recorder (about 8 years old) doesn't do it. I've looked around and not many people seem to want this facility. I've told her to get a laptop or notebook or tablet but she gets a bit John Terry about it so I don't go there.

She wants DVD recording to disk with HD (which they obviously all do these days) and the facility to show CD photos of her holiday cruises she gets on a CD from Jessops.

Any help / suggestions will be gratefully received. Cheers, Slacker.

Have you tried turning her off amd turning her back on again?

As far as I know, the problem isnt so much with what DVD player you have, it's about the software and how you put the photos on the disc. Ask Jessops about it? Maybe they charge a little extra for turning it into a legit DVD?
