Google calender won't update on S2/tab 2

Basically I have a Galaxy S2 and bought a Galaxy tab 2 7.0 tablet the other day and they are hooked up with my gmail account. So in my calender on my phone, everything i put in there, it will go straight on my tab 2 calender.

BUT, whenever i put something in my tab 2 calender, it wont sync back to my S2 calender. Understand? Only one pathway, id REALLY prefer to have both ways if its possible since i spent loadsa time planning on my tab 2 today yesterday.

Any help?

Have you tried turning it off and then on again?

Or you could go on the internet I suppose.

There was some news about google sync 'ending' from January. My calenders no longer sync to my iphone (calm down - would normally say 'phone' but just want to add that there could be a similar problem for others) any more.

Mine still syncs. Just did it now.

Maybe your sync isn't turned on.

Try this. It's a roundabout method I used once when my sync wasn't working.

On the homepage, add a widget. Find one called "power savings". Add it to a home page screen. It has the option there to turn sync on and off. I had somehow turned sync off so it would only sync manually (and who does that?) On that power savings widget, make sure the sync is enabled. Is it?
