Would be nice to have some players back, but it's unlikely they'll have recovered in a few days.
With a (mostly) fit squad to choose from, I think we'd be quite comfortable winners. But Spurs have some injuries too and will similarly have to rotate after the Christmas fixtures.
I think Wenger will go as strong as possible and he should, considering we'll have a good long rest before the game at Villa.

Sounds harsh on Flappy, but I would play the younger Pole. It's the end of our every 3 days a game schedule so absolutely play Giroud if he is fit. The next game after this is in a while. Sanogo is supposed to be back this month too. Not that he is the strongest consideration.
-------------------Szczesny-------------------
Sagna--------KOS----------VM8R---------Gibbs
----------Arteta-----------Rosicky-------------
Walcott-----------Wilshere--------------Podolski
----------------Olivier Giroud-------------------
Bit of a short team though, so I'd be tempted to throw the BFG in anyway..... Most definitely would if Giroud didn't play.
Kos and Verm partnership is a recipe for disaster.

I don't really understand resting 'keepers. Outfield players who run all game fine, but 'keepers? Nah.
Yeah, they could get injured but it's pretty rare.

Kos + Verm used to be a recipe for disaster. Not anymore. Verm has been outstanding and they are clearly being drilled in training.
Chill, we got 'dis.

Yeah, they could get injured but it's pretty rare.
That's not why teams do it. A lot of the bigger teams play their 2nd choice goalies for cup games mainly because IF the first choice does get injured at some point in the season, your back-up will have a few first team games under his belt for the season.
But we probably shouldn't bother because our back-ups are crud anyway.

With Danny Dyer at the helm, Spuds will come to attack and that should make it an open game. I'd play Guerude if hes fit as i dont think Feo orm Pod will test their defenders enough, esp at home where space will be tight.
3-1 please lads. Cheers

Spurs are all over the place at the back, we really should be taking them to the cleaners
1-0 HT
Great 1st half, Rosicky, Cazorla, Gnabry really good, Walcott was pretty decent too.
Get Wilshere off, he's been awful and as mentioned is the weak link right now.

We need to sign up Gnabry on a long contract... This kid will become something speciel.
Hopefully Flamini will get the last 10min so he kan kill Dembele, Adebayor and Soldado.

I've said a few times whilst I don't think he should necessarily start many, I would like to see him subbed on far more than he is.
Spurs are sooo open at the back....really should make them pay. Up the Arse!

Good half, generally dominated and good value for the lead.
A second goal would be nice to settle nerves.

Yep... How he didnt give Dembele anything for his headbutt, when he was looking straight at them, is beyond me.

It's very odd. Any time a player does that, they have no idea where they are pushing the opponent to. Clattenburg is a moran.

Gnabry and Arteta have been superb.
Gnabry can play as a winger but has the composure and passing to play in the middle.
Something special and Wenger needs to blood him more.
IMHO Theo's been successful up front as a lone striker because of Gnabry pace and unpredictability.
Arteta midfield control is magical. Some vital interceptions as well!

Really good game and performance so far.
A bit more composure in the final third and we'd be justifiably 3-0 ahead. Spurs' only chance came from a ricochet and Fabianski saved confidently.
Everyone in midfield and in the forward positions has looked dangerous and have contributed well. Gnabry is really classy. Great finish from Cazorla. Rosicky is everywhere. Hope we don't regret furthering the lead in the first half.
Arsenal .
Good game from Clattenburg too. By far the best of the celebrity refs.
Gnabry is fantastic, I love his style, just plays the whole game at pace and it's much better to watch than the slow monotonous passing, his directness is refreshing.
