I've never felt such a sense of impending doom
As my mate said "if Labour wins ill be really pissed off, but I will be just as upset if the Tories win"
Personally I'd be much happier with a Labour government if that muppet Milliband wasn't party leader, and there wasnt a nagging sense of economic incompetence. Rising Debt under Labour, slow growth and continual cost of living increase under the Tories...what a choice.

Voting Labour.
Same, well have voted Labour. As party member considering I do sod all for them in terms of campaigning, it's probably the least I can do. And given that I live in a safe Tory constituency, I don't feel it's an irresponsible vote either. It comes to something that the leader of a party is so bad, that even though I belong to it I have to prevaricate over whether to vote for them or not.

'None of the above' is not a valid option as it doesn't appear on the ballot slip. Not sure why you have added it. Seems politically motivated at first glance.

I'm in the Pendle constituency which may go to Labour.
Herbert_Chapman's_Zombie
07-05-2015, 01:41 PM
Last poll showed Conservatives with a four point lead in Pendle, vote normally swings to the incumbent nearer to polling day so going to go ahead and say that's an almost certain Tory hold.
Clearly a marginal seat, but not one I can see going Labours way.

Yeah where I am in a marginal (Peterborough). Hopefully it will go the way of the polls which shows it looks like it's swinging back to Labour this time.

You're the man who seems to know...
Pretty much they have been since 1992, that underestimated the Tory vote
And to be honest this election is reminding me a bit of 1992......i can see the Tories getting a slim but workable majority....
By that i should say the BBC Exit poll
Yougov has it completely different:

Mr. Turkentine: Charlie Bucket, how many UKIPpers did you elect?
Charlie Bucket: Two.
Mr. Turkentine: That's easy. 200 is twice 100...
Charlie Bucket: Not 200, just two.
Mr. Turkentine: Two? What do you mean you only elected two?
Charlie Bucket: I don't care very much for crazy racist bastards.
Mr. Turkentine: Well, I can't figure out just two!

Nah he got the electoral count perfectly and even a lot of the margins in different states.
That being said, UK elections are a completely different kettle of fish and his talents may not translate over.

I don't understand all the rhetoric that the Tories are all evil and people should be ashamed for voting for them.
Perhaps they are referring to the targeting of the poorest, the sickest and the most vulnerable in society, the soaking of the young, the handouts to the tax evaders, the gaping anus presented to the banks, and so on.
Or maybe they are talking about something else.
Basically you can't be religious AND a Tory. That's an absolute contradiction.
I take your point though, Labour being Tory-lite, the Lib Dems exposed as opportunists, the Greens wanting to concrete over the country and UKIP with it's thinly veiled agenda. Not much of a choice. Still no excuse to pick the very worst option though.
