I'm still clinging to the faint hope a few more defeats like this may just force the boards hands into rescinding the contract offer. I know it's wishful thinking.

Why are we bothering with post match threads? Everything already said in the match thread - from 2007.
The issue is whether he's already signed the fucker.....
If that's the case then the whole thing is even more of a mess than we thought.
How much to buy him out?

It's all a complete and utter shambles, isn't it? No fight, no desire, no will to win. I honestly don't know what the players go out on the pitch for. Is is for the badge? No way. For the money? Most probably, but they can be doing better elsewhere. For Wenger? Most definitely not.
The one thing that really upsets me is the rift among the fans. The Wenger ins (Can't quite fathom who this small group may be), the Wenger outs, the Arsenal fan tv lot, the ones who want to dust up the Arsenal fan tv lot, the silent majority. Our very fan base has become a laughing stock. Other fans are piling in to see how we react on arsenal fan TV.
I know we're not getting relegated, but when other teams have been through crap at least their fans stuck together. Leeds, forest, villa, Newcastle, to name but a few relegated clubs. Spurs, chelsea, Liverpool are comparable clubs who have had bad seasons in the recent past. Didn't see them showcasing their twatitude on social media

Arsenal 0-1 'Ammers?
That was just plain bizarre how we lost that one. This one was just plain bollocks.

He cannot be allowed to sign a two year extension under any circumstances. He's out of his depth and needs to go, no one in their mind would offer an underachieving manager a two year extension.

Wenger - we matched them in the 1st half :haha:
We created good chances :haha: Zero chances in the second half.
We had a lot of the ball. We had a lot of possession :haha:
They were stronger. No shit Sherlock.
This is not the time to speak, this is the time to analyse.
Is the top 4 world title under threat? Yes, it is damaging.
Every defeat is a big worry, I have managed over 1,000 games and we are not used to losing like that :haha:
We must respond... :haha:
I am determined to put things right
Any news on your situation Arsene? NO!

Really fear a huge loss there. They are playing really well and we are losing games right left and centre. We have conceded 13 goals in our last 4 away games.

4 away defeats in a row is the worst under Wenger.

Pretty damning thing to say. At least he apologised to the fans for letting us down.

20 points from last 15 league games
4 points from possible 24 in last 8 away league games
First time we've lost 4 in a row away from home since 1995
First time we've conceded at least three times in 4 consecutive away games since 1929
First time in five years we've lost more than 7 league games in a league season

At least we remembered to give the armband to someone this time when Theo went off.

didn't realise he went off... just assumed he was still on the pitch not contributing/getting involved.

Did he give any basis for that? Apart from him being a retard, obviously.

The only basis any of these people give is that he's earned the right to go when he wants.
As usual, completely ignoring what's happening on the pitch and living in denial.
Wenger should NOT go at the end of the season.
He should go now.

the only reason wenger hasn't said he will stay is because he is waiting for a good result to make the announcement after, in the hope that the result means we have turned the corner and him signing a new deal is the icing on top of the cake.
