I was at the match against Bolton in the carlin cup and here's my take.

1) Park - movement was good and tested the keeper a couple of times and scored brilliantly - don't know what Coyle is talking about when he says we only had two shots on target. Knight was struggling with his movement all evening.

2) Arshavin - as always he was sloppy for substantial periods, but he was probably a bit too good for everyone else on the pitch - a few times you could see he had to contain his passing because the other arsenal players weren't moving into the right positions. The twenty minutes when he switched it on he was superb and picking passes with easy. For a lot of the match he was very wasteful though.

3) Benayoun - faded in and out of the game. He put in a good defensive shift, helping miguel out in LB.

Squilaci was actually very decent yesterday.

the worst player was probably frimpong (looked like a mug yesterday) followed by Chamberlain. He didn't have that same directness going forward and mispalced too many passes. He didn't provide yennaris (rb) with enough cover and Tuncay trouble the new guy because of that.

Nah, that's garbage.

He did waste the ball a couple of times in key areas, but we should've been 0-2 early on which was purely down to Walcott creating a chance with excellent weight balls which Gervinho and Van Persie missed from. He had Cashley very worried for the whole game. Theo's goal was brilliantly taken too; created that all by himself.

Not saying I'd pick him in the team but there's no doubt he was a completely different player yesterday than the one we've been used to seeing recently.
