Even before their excellent start to the season, I thought Villa would do well this season. I'm not entirely sure about their manager, but they made some smart signings in comparison to last season when they seemed to buy for the sake of it. They also lost players like Wesley, Heaton and especially McGinn to injury last year so were basically relying on Grealish to do a Maradona every match for half the campaign. Now with a settled squad and Grealish staying, they look like a team that's comfortable in this league.
