The best goal was Fodens. Picture book football

:haha: No it wasn't. Good finish, standard build up. Not even close.

Now had Foden scored after Bernardo Silva's ludicrous run, then that's obviously different.

These games are as close to Arsenal-United as I can remember. Different, because those games had glorious shithousery to go along with incredible skill, but two teams just head and shoulders above the rest. Makes me nearly, kinda, almost enjoy football again.

Now you wouldn't be biased would you?. Sallah's goal was great but can it beat Rooney's overhead kick dubbed the greatest ever by many pundits?

I didn’t think Salad’s goal was that amazing tbh.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a very good goal but when I heard the hype about it I was expecting a Maradona vs England or something. It was nowhere near that level.

 How dare you suggest there may be bias involved.

Rooney shinned it. A solid 8 on the Trevor Sinclair scale. Bale's against us was better as was Ronaldo's against Juve.

Maradona's goal was overrated. Peter Reid the tub of lard waddling his way back.

Rooneys was nothing compared to Sinclair - a good example of the club and the player causing the media to overrate it

This I agree with, it does remind me of that :(
I miss those days when we were one of those teams and games like this meant something.
Now we're just going in to the foetal position and hoping the beating isn't too bad :(
