Even when there was news that a Caucasian man had been arrested, Sky still failed to make that point on their coverage until quite a long time later. The Norwegian government is on the verge of recognising the Palestinian state. Abbas was in Oslo on Monday. The BBC seems to have missed this in its central analysis.

The Norwegian gov will charge Anders Behring under terrorism law. But it is only a matter of time till the far right media (and European in general) will dismiss him as a "madman" instead of linking him with far right neo nazi supremist/terrorist group or religious extrimist. Norway have quite lenient sentencing, I think that's the maximum they could impose.

21yrs is the maximum allowed by Norwegian law but he can remain locked up after that if he is still deemed to pose a threat to society. Which you'd imagine he probably will.
