Been the constant issue for Wolves, a lot of their players are good in so far that they are quick, technically decent and they know how to mix it up with other sides physically. What they lack is for those same players to make the net bulge. Wolves have struggled for me since they sold Jota to Liverpool and poor Jiminez suffered brain damage.

Brighton are a similar side in many ways, good decent players who are both good passers of the ball and not afraid to put in a shift or a tackle….but don’t have consistent goalscorers or both teams could potentially be knocking on the door of top six

But I think he was on the wane, it was the right time to get rid of him and I do think they brought in a player in Diaz who has the potential to be just as good

Right time to sell I guess given his age and the fact he wanted a new challenge but I think his contribution last season was the main reason why they had a shot at the title.

Agree with the midfield being weak though. Seems like it’s an area that’s been neglected because of how direct their attack has been along with their fullbacks. Almost like the midfield is bypassed.
