12 points in 11 games in a title run in
-1 goal difference.
Interesting to see the 3 relegated sides make up the bottom 3 here too.

Arseblog makes it 11 points from 11 games. Either way it's shit and an amazing way to collapse, which only Arsenal could manage. :trophy:

The very least we should have done from the position we were in was take it to the wire, if we still fell short I'd find that easier to accept. To just fall away so suddenly was ridiculous and highlighted a lot about this team. Even a dire Chelsea who were nowhere all season managed to get to the point where they realistically had it in their own hands.
Anyway, fuck it. The season is gone.
Roll on next year.

This was the worst of all..You can visibily see the attitude of the players, you can read the mistakes before they happen.
My god where would we have been without RVP....It would have been 3 points from 33.
But all very predictable.
When you listen to Denilson or Bendtner you'd think they were RVP or Nasri...he lies the problem they think they are ( others too ) way better than they are because Arsene pampers players lacking ability and doesn't lay into players way out of form...we have a laid mentality and one that cracks like glass once chipped.
Shocking.
But what will change?

we are lucky we ran out of games --- this lot and wenger would have got us relegated however 'hard' they tried to 'fight till the end'

I really cant blame Bendtner to want away. He is brought on in the 70+ minute and played out of position. He is no Messi to be doing miracles. I do believe in a 4-4-2 system, he would be very effective. I guess its too late now since he has decided to move to another club.

you know, i think you may have a point. i really feel if we had proper wingers or at least wingbacks who could cross both bendy and chamakh would thrive....oh well

The problem for me is that 11 games is a huge chunk of a season, this isn't a blip, this is where we are, right here & right now.
Wenger has spouted some rubbish about how we won the Villa game 100%, it was only reffing decisions that cost us it ! thats a shameful comment to make. He asked to judged in May and thats precisely what people are doing. Fans are embarrased to hear that and the players shouldnt hear that and have the ready made excuse for them. He's said we were close this year ? well we wasn't. 11 games is over a quarter of the season, we have let more goals in than last year. He's saying we lack maturity again, yet he was saying this in close season 2007. There is no improvement whatsoever

Shockingly bad. Funny thing is, we were arguably in a worse position in March 97/98 but then we wont 10 in a row and romped to the title.
Had we done that this season, we'd have won it easily but this team is awful

Shocking although i am surprised we weren't in the bottom 3 for recent form, showed bottle to avoid that..
