Well, Liskeard is pretty close too, but it ain't the nicest of towns. St Austell is pretty grimin places too. Mevagissey is quite nice by the harbour, but you're better off trying places that are out of the way. Especially in the summer.

All depends what you're after really.

Sunday is the first anniversary of the first text I ever sent MrsL. It was nice and simple:

I hadn't met her at this stage and I sat back awaiting the Brownie points...except her name isn't Lucy :doh:

When she was giving me her number (via the dating site we met on, using the instant chat facility on there) I was writing an email to Lucy, another girl I was in conversation with. I had a massive brainfart and put MrsL's number in my phone under the name Lucy and then, continuing my confusion, used that name in my text the following day.

Text came back a few minutes later asking who Lucy was :lol: :doh:

Luckily she believed my explanation and the rest is history.
