Question about Freeview for those with experience. My TV has a freeview tuner built in, however I can't pick up any channels, literally none. Am I right in thinking my roof aerial needs to be upgraded so I can pick them up through the TV? Alternatively can I just buy a box and get the channels from there, or does the box make no difference if the aerial is old to begin with?

If it's got a freeview tuner it'd pick them up if they were coming through the aerial. No signal means either the TV tuner isn't being set up properly or a new aerial is required. I'm in the same boat. Keep meaning to get a new aerial. But can never quite be bothered.

I use the auto tune function on the TV and set it to search for digital channels, but nowt comes up. Guess I'll need to upgrade then.
