My car is due an "oil service" because it's been driven 10,000 miles in less than 12 months. How urgent is this? The oil looks good and it's all well-looked-after. Can I leave it a week until I have free time or will that kill it little bit?

As long as the oil is topped up it should be fine for at least a week, I wouldn't plan on going another 1000 miles though. Newer cars can probably squeeze a little more out but I would book it in for a service sooner rather than later.
