I'm not militant or anything. Just an excuse to get some +1s on here.
But it is quite disgusting to cut poor fuckers up and eat them.
Even before I became Linda McCartney's messenger on Earth, the majority of meat was pretty vile to me in terms of appearance and smell.

Stuart Hall admits his charges of indecent assault.
Sick fuck.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22379286
Broadcaster Stuart Hall has admitted 14 charges of indecently assaulting girls as young as nine years old.
The 83-year-old from Wilmslow, Cheshire pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to the offences, involving 13 victims, which occurred between 1967 and 1985.
A further three charges of indecent assault and one of rape have been left to lie on the court file.
Outside the court earlier Hall's lawyer said he wished to apologise to his victims.
He added: "He is not a man easily moved to self pity but he is all too aware that his disgrace is complete."
Hall admitted the offences last month but they could not be revealed due to reporting restrictions
Tbh I wasn't really expecting that.

A former ship's captain held hostage by Somali pirates got a red-faced welcome from fancy dress pirates at a Devon Women's Institute (WI).
The Parkham WI thought Colin Darch was going to be speaking to them about piracy, not realising he was held hostage for 47 days in 2008.
"They were more embarrassed than me," said Mr Darch, 75.

It's certainly better. Having worked in youth groups I've seen a lot of the procedures which have been brought in.
CRB checks are mandatory in any youthwork (which only pick up criminal convictions but it's better than nothing) and at my old church we had policies to make sure no adult was left alone with any child for the protection of all concerned.
I'm sure there's plenty of scope for excellent inappropriate jokes and sure, things still aren't perfect, but there's no doubt they've got better.

I'm sure he'd be the first to admit that.

At work.

It's colder than a witches tit out there, seriously starting to think about emigrating.
I know what you mean.
This country is shite.
They need people like me in Australia too.
I thought they built Australia with people like you?
:d :run:
I reckon it's my ideal location, tbh. Sunny. Beer. Give a fuck.
My kinda place.
On the one hand Sam and I have loads of family out there, so we could settle quite easily, on the other, killer spiders :(

Love to live somewhere with a beach culture like Oz.

Nobody has died from spider bites in Oz since 1979.
Doesn't mean to say you won't be the next.....but it is highly unlikely.
They do like gingers though, so I've heard..... :console:
 That's it then, we're off, now my ginger is carefully disguised with grey they'll never get me :fingers:

But have you seen the effects of a spider bite?
They have snakes too.
And scorpions.
Fuck that noise.

Nothing planned for today mind, it's tomorrow and Sunday where the messy stuff kicks in.
Seen blud, seen.
I'm DJing tonight, then a few halves of shandy in the sun tomorrow, and a couple of Martini and Lemonades on Sunday I think.

Wouldn't hold much hope for sun, it's windy and pissing it down right now.
Tomoz is going to be nice apparently (London and South). Cloudy Sunday, #decent on Monday.

Anyone got contacts lenses?
What are they like; putting them in, wearing etc? Do they constantly feel like you have something in your eye?
Glasses are getting on my nerves, terrible in any weather.

Year I wear them occasionally.
It's just something you get used to. It can feel like there's something in your eye at first, but the more you wear them, the more you get used to them.
Putting them in and taking them out is pretty easy, but again, gets easier with practice.
I recommend seeing an optician for a consultation, (obviously, you can't get lenses without one) and taking their advice on how long you should wear them. Lots of different types, too.
I wear daily disposables. A bit more expensive, but I CBA with the hassle of storing and cleaning them.
Used to wear them all the time no problem, once you get used to putting them in and taking them out it's a piece of piss, just got so expensive and high maintenance I just couldn't be bothered any more, went back to wearing glasses instead, I just have a face that suits a bag pair of spectacles.
I mostly wear glasses, but I'll wear contacts if it's sunny or I'm doing some other activity where sunglasses would be useful.
I should wear glasses, but I don't. Never been for an eye test.

Used to wear glasses for reading at school but I don't think I genuinely needed them. Just made things on the board a little bit easier to read when sat at the back.

Back in my day of wearing glasses, there was no option of contact lenses. Had there been, I doubt I would have used them. One slip and you'd be Arsene Wenger'd for life. No thanks.
Laser eye surgery is the way forward tbh. Relatively cheap and harmless.
My ex's sister's eyesight was deteriorating to the point that she had to get a new pair every month, so in the end it became cheaper to get laser surgery.
Swedes
Awful eyesight.

I looked like a proper idiot putting them in. Mouth open, tongue out, full-on Phil Jones derp. And failing to put them in, half the time.
Really weird sticking a finger in your eye though. Really counter intuitive. And quite awkward since they get you to put your hand over your head, use your other finger to pull down, your foot to balance the lens.
But apart from that
