Typically, I run 10k on a Sunday, 10k on a monday, top speed 5k on Tuesday, sprints Wednesday and 3k blast home on a Thursday.

Tuesday and Wednesday are gym sessions on treadmill, mixed with weights and rowing.

Going to cut down the running soon, as I also walk about 6 miles a day, and my 34 yr old legs are getting fucked. Am buying a bike to spread the load.

I can run forever on a treadmill but for some reason running outdoors has never appealed to me, I tried it a while ago and lost interest very quickly. I'll give it another go as I want to make the most of the weather, maybe a cheeky 5k.

I saw the crowds and, hoping to see something interesting, joined them. I remember when one of the attempts before was cancelled secretly thinking "phew!" as I thought it was going to be scary but actually no, going up and landing was all very smooth, you're travelling with the wind so it's not cold or breezy up there, you can't fall out (well, you could climb out but it would have to be deliberate). So no.
Quite hard work though as you have to help with the set-up and packing away. I guess that's all part of the experience though.

The mother of Daniel Pelka and her partner have both been given life sentences.

Magdelena Luczak and Mariusz Krezolek were convicted of four-year-old Daniel's murder at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday.
