It's just a bit crap here. I enjoyed the madness initially but now I'm in the office we end quite late as we're pretty much working UK hours, I went for a walk this morning and nothing was open and people kept bothering me (I think they knew somehow I wasn't a local...) and by the time I get home it's too late to go out and do anything, and I'm not sure there's loads to do anyway...and I'm a bit too scared to do it on my own :(

Working all the way up to Christmas Eve. Until 5. :(
Thought I get NYE off at least.

Yeah, working up to close of play on Xmas Eve (albeit very hungover from being at the Chelsea game the night before).
Then I'm off until Thursday 2nd.....

I'd want to see Blink aswell but I can't go to two as I'm thinking of going to go to the download festival, with Linkin Park/Aerosmith/The Offspring as quite a few people from uni are going to it together.
Sonisphere looks like the one to go to.
Just had some porridge. Quite nice.

Family gathering at the weekend to exchange Christmas lists (we make lists so we don't end up with a load of crap we don't want).
My nephew (who is 30 and a bit of a recluse/idiot so didn't attend) had emailed a list for him and his girlfriend Sarah.
One of the items was "Bras for Sarah - 32AA" :haha:
How we lolled.

I know as much as the further through the alphabet you get the happier you are.
Not necessarily.
Really huge wabblers are no good to anyone, aside from the amusement aspect.
And if she gets chubby, you're liable to lose valuable bed space.
Motorboat 'em, get yourself a good tit wank, and then GTFO tbf.

Windows 8 is fulcking awlful.
It's like a person who wears unnecessary, excessively garish make-up.
Or an overly-enthusiastic, gratingly cheery, somewhat camp, fringe member of a group of friends who always invite themselves along.
It's a birthday cake with too much sickly icing/chocolate/hundreds and thousands on top.
In short: DO NOT WANT.
It works in the same way as Windows 7, except they replaced the 500 year old start menu with something more useful.

I think Windows 8 looks more slick on mobiles/tablets.
I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon, Windows 7 is great.

A workmate came in with a stinking cold on Monday, and I mean stinking. She stayed fou twenty minutes just to infect everyone. Then fucked off home. I came down with it yesterday. Holy shit, by last night my head was pounding and I had a nose like Niagara Falls. The stupid bitch.
Thought for sure I'd not be coming into work today. But not feeling anywhere near as rough as last night.
Not sure I want to stand around in a pub too much ahead of the match as I only feel like drinking hot whiskey.
I'll see how I feel later on

I don't like Windows 8 either.
Some thing are decent, some things are just stupid like 'Shut Down'. It just feels half-arsed, and those annoying invisible menus that appear anytime you move your mouse from the exact centre of the screen. I haven't used it on a touch screen so it may be better that way but I'm not sure they even gave a second thought to those people who, god forbid, aren't using a touch screen.
I did like their WUMger of "putting back the start button" though. That was genius.
On the other hand I don't like change which undoubtedly cloud my judgement, though their fascistic "you WILL like the Metro screen" was a little too far.

I have little bit cold as well but it's not too bad yet. Early stages though, hope it comes and goes before the party season begins. Nothing worse than being laid out over Christmas.

I have little bit hangover from Xmas party. Had the foresight to take today as a holiday.
I had windows 8, and got it changed back to windows 7. I am now starting to regret my decision because windows 8 made my computer a lot faster for some reason. On the other hand, I like consistent consistency consistently and I couldn't work out where some of the stuff was in windows 8.
Btw these should all be @boringmilner tweets.

And tonight you'll get to watch Phil Brown's Ex get a shock result at our place and so you'll need to drink many, many beers. I hope you have the foresight to take tomorrow off too.
