Maybe now we can divest ourselves of this view that politicians and their decisions have any impact on the stock market or economic growth or retraction. The US stock market tanked in 2008 and has been an upward trend since then, that it was going to fall was inevitable

Trump claiming that his administration was responsible for economic growth is as ridiculous as claims that he is responsible for this downturn. The market didn’t baulk at Trumps election for starters.

The market is literally 3 x the 2008 crash levels. And the tax cuts most certainly have had a massive influence on the economy. Sometimes politicians can influence things, but like the tax cuts it's a one shot deal. After that, all things being equal, the market absorbs the action and finds its level again. Tearing up regulations helps too, but none of it has gone anywhere near far enough. Of course tax rates should be zero and regulations should be set by the consumer rather than government, and then you would see a stable, healthy and growing marketplace. But only then.

But all things aren't equal and they are never stable. The fact government even exists influences the market in many terrible ways and disqualifies the possibility of free trade. Corporate welfare, the revolving door and trans national rules and regulations, these are the factors that continuously rig the market in favour of the few over the many. Communism for the rich, a loaded and bastardised vulture capitalism for the rest.

Got to get rid of government. It's the only way to have a real economy as opposed to a faith based bubble factory. If there's no government then there's nobody to bribe for advantage, there's no requirement to outspend your competitors on lawyers to deal with regulations and there's no chair in the boardroom for the bought and paid for political retiree. The market would then be decided by the practises of the participants and the demand/ supply, quality and (most importantly) necessity/ utility of their product.

If that ever came in I wonder how long it would be before a teacher got right ticked of with the behaviour of his students and used the gun! I taught in America, some of the students can be tricky to deal with. I can say also as a teacher, I didn't go into the profession to potentially shoot people, I doubt they would go for it.
There was a brief discussion a few years ago of teachers searching students for knives. I don't think I'd be up for that either.

That said, there has been a downward trend in the last few years. Mostly because we haven't had a real prime minister I suppose, and because many of our laws are now made by unelected bureaucrats in foreign and unfriendly nations.

And btw, the sell offs were scams - the replacement of one monopoly with other monopolies. That was all sleight of hand, not serious economic policy. Bollocks.

The French and the Germans have never been and will never be our partners and have always been our rivals. It's a cultural thing. Which is why the globalists are trying to eliminate culture. Germany continues to see itself as the centrepiece of Europe and the ridiculous French have gone along with it despite having been invaded and subjugated by the cunts. It takes a spine of a particular kind of jelly to forgive and forget the nature of the German after such an indecent span of time since the war.

I really don't get half the British. They have a mountain of evidence easily available that shows over and over again how influential this nation can be. And yet they curl up in a corner, whimpering, we can't do anything alone, we can't survive without some German pulling us along by the nose. This didn't happen because the people lost their nerve. This happened because the people placed all their trust in government, and even worse, they abdicated their own responsibilities and because weak and pliable. Now you hear the same remoaners going on about calamity should Britain ever be required to stand on its own two feet again. And why is that I wonder? Because half the fucking nation are pathetic pussies. She men and feminists and lefty loons, communists and marxists and fantasy la-la land types who think the fuckers lording over them have their best interests at heart, despite there being every proof to the contrary.

Maybe we can have some form of unification. Maybe the French and the Germans and the Poles and the Romainians with a backbone could come over here and the wimps could go the other way and disappear into their utopia. There would have to be a clear rule set in advance though - no WWIII to bail them out when the authoritarians start marching them into work camps.
