Few more from that weekend Letters starting with post hamburger et les frites when you declined the walk to Sacre coeur. Thought it looked spectacular at night and there was a great vibrancy around it, music, dancing, drinking overlooking Paris though I have to say if I ever catch that bitch working on the fenicular again, she's had it, bloody robber!

What do they have at the bottom of Arc de Triomphe? Isnt it something about an unknown soldier dying... I dont remember exactly but other than the fire burning 24/7, it was very boring.. the street view of Champs Elyees is nice from there though..

Well, I am sorry for being politically incorrect but my comments were not to disregard what they did for the country.. my comment is very true and that is, it is boring to just watch a flame burn all day. There is not a whole lot to do other than take pictures, try to read names on the wall which you will forget in less than 20 seconds. So yes, it is very very boring.. is it important for the city of Paris- absolutely yes.

TBH, I don't think I even looked at the flame for as long as 5 minutes - just enjoyed the view down the Avenue Foche towards La Defence and the opposite way down the Champs Elysees toward the Louvre.
