Win this and we are through. Lose and we are probably out as we wont win in Greece. Draw and we take 2nd probably.
We have been pretty awful performance wise in the CL this season but the results have been ok.
Need both in this game

Is there any formula that any team winning at Bayern Munich should win all the away games , milla ?
The Emirates is a different proposition . I can't remember any European team winning at the grove in the 3 past years . Even mighty Barcelona failed to do so . No need to panic Dortmund will get their deserved beating .

Having seen Fulham against Sp*rs the other weekend - I think the Fulham game is going to be a very nervy affair for us so I think Wenger's got a dilemna on his hands as regards the likes of Song; Walcott, Arteta and RVP. I'd be inclined to set up defensively for Borussia Dortmund and try to conserve some energy.

on one new injury...
From Saturday everybody is available. We lost Tomas Rosicky in training, he has been replaced by Abou Diaby. Rosicky has a small thigh strain.
on Diaby’s return...
I am very happy. It's been a little bit quicker than expected because he looked good in training, so it's good to have him back. He has not played one minute since the start of the season and had his surgery in June, so it's good news to have him back.
on Van Persie...
Robin started on the bench last time [in the Champions League] because we had some medical concerns. Tomorrow we have no medical concerns at all, that means he will start.
Need Rosicky back asap

No, Ach . we gonna win this . I know Bayern is great team and beating them could only Borussia more confidence . But we have beaten better teams than Bayern and that did not give us a license to beat everyone down our road . And plus we are not Fulham after all . We are the Arsenal . we were complacent against Marseilles . Tomorrow , everyone will be on their toes . We will win this fair and square . I'm even overconfident about it .

Should be a comfortable win. 2-0 sounds about right.
I think it's good news that Diaby's back. Think he'll enjoy playing under a counter-attacking style with this team, but he'll need to pull his weight in defence. A handy player to have - if he settles in with a few sub appearances, then Ramsey or Arteta could sit the odd game out with the busy schedule over winter.

It seems more likely he would rest a few players against Fulham. And why would he bring Chamakh and especially Diaby straight into the team after injuries?
And Djourou would make the defence a lot less solid.

Cracking ball by Ramsey to release Walcott - I think Theo could've done better with his first touch there...instead of trying to lift it over the keeper, just nudge it away from goal. I think we need to get Theo involved more though - he's our best bet with his pace.

The midfield are seriously lacking in creativity AGAIN. Arteta needs to do more, he's not meant to be a defensive midfielder, that's Song's job. Moreover, he seems so careless at times in possession, and has delivered a few hospital passes tonight.
And Gervinho's having a 'mare as well.

Didn't know you spoke French!
Impressed with how both sides have defended. Two good attacking sides but both have been plugging any gaps. I think if Van Persie was more switched on (like he usually has been) we'd have been away - that dinked ball that was slightly behind him from Ramsey, Van Persie usually takes that with his left to shoot with his right but just miscontrolled it. Similarly Walcott just messed up the first touch when trying to lift it over the 'keeper.
Song has been very solid. Ramsey has been decent - clearly looks the most capable of finding a gap having done so twice. Walcott can do some damage but we need better hold-up play from Van Persie and Gerv (Gerv has actually been defending and tracking back superbly but largely anonymous and wasteful with the ball)...it almost clicked with a reverse ball from RVP when Walcott was through but rightly called offside.
We can take this lot - they were tiring towards the end of that half whereas we were gathering momentum. Hopefully Wenger just tells them to stay patient and not to anything silly. After 60 mins, we might be able to pick them off. A draw wouldn't be a disaster but I think we'll grab a professional win.

We got away with it at Norwich but these guys are pressing hard. The trio need to get a hold of the game. Positioning of Arteta and Ramsey is terrible. They're not open for passes and not moving quick enough.
