Liverpool will lose a number of games - they will have plenty of mid table teams getting draws too. Citeh are the team that needs stopping. We want them to have at least a lot of draws.

If they also fail to reach the knock-out stage in the CL and the manager looks like he might be replaced, that will help too. That's what I think sets the Invincibles apart. They were made to work for a lot of their results, their resilience was outstanding. They only scored 73 goals in that season, I say 'only' because we've managed to top that total several times since then, but of course it's all been in vain.

All well and good hitting teams for 5's and 6's every week, City haven't proven anything yet.

I think there are many teams that have the potential to finish 3rd...even 2nd; ourselves included. Tottenham have stole a march on the rest but 6 points is not a big difference at all at this stage and whereas I think we can improve a lot when Wilshere gets back, the spuds are at their limit and can only go down. They will have a bad patch sooner or later - most teams do...we just have to capitalise.

Yeah true, even though we're playing quite well I still think we're probably playing a gear below our top level. I agree that we'll most likely improve quite a bit when Jack comes back.
