Not for normies. I pay my accountant every year and he clearly works for the state and not for me, because I can't afford to pay him enough to take the risk. So he busies himself telling me all about everything I need to comply with, rather than advising me on how I can avoid being fucked by the child rapists in charge. When I get richer I'll be able to afford an accountant the state turns a blind eye to. Please don't tell me you have no idea how this works? So delicate, so unspoiled, so ripe.

Any other way of making them necessitates a person or group of people being in authority. And how are the rules enforced without an authority?
I believe government to be the best way of making those rules and democracy is the best way of deciding who is in government.
But I do think our version of democracy is bad and there isn't enough consequence for politicians who are corrupt or incompetent. But that doesn't make the principles wrong, more the implementation of them (like Agile, innit?!)

I don't thing politicians are evil or governments are inherently trying to control or oppress people. I actually think most people get in to politics with good intentions but I'd concede that the end result is a lot of corruption and cronyism. I don't think the MSM are just spouting endless propaganda or "fake news" - obviously some are better than others and all have their biases.

In brief "they" aren't out to get you.
The army were wearing uniform in Birmingham because they wear uniform as part of their job.
The USPS dude was just being interviewed to check his story and ask if he could stand by the statement which was written on his behalf.
The Covid restrictions were put in place as an attempt to control the situation - we can debate whether they were good measures, but given they were revoked shows it wasn't just an attempt at controlling us all. Why would they only want to do that for a couple of years and then randomly just stop again?
    And so on.

Blind deference to everything authority does isn't sensible, but neither is believing that everything "they" do is intended to control or oppress us.
I sense your doubt, finally. You've mounted your ass. Still the road ahead though.

My "worldview" is based on what I see, what I understand but - most importantly - what I remember. When you have a memory there are patterns and familiar faces. When the same patterns are spun and the same face appear you can avoid what is not compulsory for your own benefit. When it is illegal to avoid it then you are in deep shit. You need to pick out singular events in isolation to make last stand defences against the obvious, and you probably even view merit in the cases you prop up, because you are bereft of the necessary knowledege to understand how childish you appear. Not a criticism. If actual players listened to me they'd laugh too.

You swallowed propaganda and so did I, for many years. The difference between you and I is you are still mouth wide open and I sensed the foul taste and started asking question rather than waiting to receive answers. Furthermore, you believe only those approved by authority are qualified to propose such answers and you dismiss out of hand the conclusions of those who lack such approval, even if they happen to be Nobel prize winning scientists, for example. It's not the qualifications, it's how you use them. Knowledge and education are powerful tools that can be used for both good and/ or evil. You don't see them as tools, you see them as authority approved virtues - the very definition of propaganda whn you think about it.

But at least it sounds like you are not on foot and have finally decided to ride. You are in for quite the journey. We'll talk again in 30 years, because I'm not kidding, that's how long it is going to take you, should you even care to make such an arduous journey. Like Jesus did. Yes, true belief isn't free and it isn't based on subservience or blindness. Jesus will NOT forgive your sins unless you understand what your sins are.
