Plenty of other examples in that thread where you post things out of context - usually you just get excited by a headline - and then when I post the relevant parts of the article which demonstrate that the headline - and therefore your conclusion - is misleading at best you just ignore it.

They did. Demonstrably.
And it was always obvious to any non-lunatic that they were going to.
The reasons it was obvious is:
1) “They” aren’t into in controlling and oppressing us to the degree your fevered imagination supposes.
2) The restrictions kept changing as the situation did, so clearly they were always going to be removed.

And the proof of the above is that…drunk roll, the restrictions have been lifted for a few years now.
