I'd be seriously tempted to start Ryo, from what I've seen of him he looks like he could be a Gareth Bale of sorts for us. I'd go for:
Scenzeny
Sagna Vermaelen Kos Gibbs
Song
Fab Nasri
Gervinho RvP Ryo

Same team as you except Walcott instead of Ryo up front.
If he gets a W/P he can be eased into the team slowly, used as an impact sub etc.
Walcott + Gervinho/Ryo should give us pace up front in spades, something we've been lacking heavily. With Wilshere/Ramsey to come in MF when needed, there is reasonable strength in depth actually.
Desperately need some defenders though as that left side looks very weak.
The King Is Back.

It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

You can rule out Gibbs now, someone will brush past him and he'll collapse in a crumpled heap and be out for 6 weeks.
There's matchstick houses which are less brittle than him.
Whatever team we pick from what we've got at the moment, it's not really good enough.
Not miserable at all to be honest, just realistic.....pretty much the same team that bottled it badly at the end of the season and got beaten and held by some awful teams.
Not really looking forward to the season anyway, haven't missed the football that much as it's just not that enjoyable to watch these days. No excitement around the place either.
