    Now you are talkin bollox!
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

It's worth sticking with Derek for the finale, imo.

Loved all his TV work, but think Derek is his best, maybe not as laugh out loud, but a a great look into how so many people are now. The woman who is just intrested in getting hold of her dying mums ring is a brilliant episode. So many people money driven these days, bits like that I love.

Watchinng this comic relief cack now, there are some funny bits, but mostly cack.

I like Derek but it's let down by some very sloppy writing at times. Some of the characters (and that ring lady is an example) are very one dimensional. I know he was trying to make a point about her greed but it was too overt. In real life no-one would be that crass. I guess he has a limited time to tell the story. Overall though I enjoyed the series and will watch the 2nd.
