Think we should abandon this Lemar BS and move to Mahrez. I think he will be a better addition to the team than Lemar, and he is probably more affordable too. I'd rather have a one season wonder from the PL rather than another league.

Arsene Wenger, the only football manager that got paid 8 million quid to do nothing but sit on his arse..
No comparison between Lemar and Mahrez for me. One is powerful, high tempo, direct, ambitious, gutsy, runs for the whole 90, can pass and cross, the other is Mahrez.
Mahrez is a classic Wenger player who will fit neatly into the tip tap torture we have to endure as Arsenal fans. Lemar will break straight out of Wenger's bullshit and play at the same level and tempo as Alexis. This is probably the number one reason Wenger wants him, because Alexis is fucking off.
The one thing both players have in common is we won't be signing them.

We've reportedly made another bid for Lemar. 50m this time, but L'Equipe say it has been rejected as they don't want to sell anymore players.
If he categorically wasn't for sale we wouldn't keep going back with new bids.
This one will roll on a bit I think.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
Monaco clearly don't need the money now and have said he isn't for sale, this means they don't really want to sell and will only do so if they get a big bid, they've said 80 million Euros so bidding 50 million is going to get you nowhere but we seem to specialise in lowball offers and dragging on transfers for entire summers, getting bored of this Lemar thing now, low bid followed by long wait, then another low bid and then same again, in that time Man City and Chelsea have bought soem of their players making it even harder and probably more expensive for us to buy him, pretty dum.
Based on what the situation Monaco are in we should go in with a bigger bid if we're really interested or just walk away and find someone else. We have a terrible way of handling transfers and go out of our way to antagonise other clubs it seems.

Who knows if Monaco want to sell or not. That isn't the problem. The problem lies with how we conduct our business, whether that be buying or selling.
Like Wenger, whoever has the say in conducting our transfer business hasn't the first fucking clue how to do it effectively.
The result is another summer of shit in the market where even when we do have some success such as Alexis, we fail to build upon it.
Every time.
If you don’t send this signature to ten people, you will become a Spurs fan.
It really is comical how we go about it.
And I emphasise, we wouldn't have Lacazette either had it not been for a transfer ban. It's like something weird has to happen before we stand a chance of completing a deal. Unless it's for a bag of shit, in which case we are decisive.
