A father whose child has contracted the rare Kawasaki disease (an illness entirely unrelated to COVID19) has tastefully posted images of his sick child in the newspapers and is warning parents that opening schools amounts to children being sent to "death camps".
I guess it will only be safe to send kids back when the government can guarantee nobody will ever die again.

Fact is, the media has been guided by the hysteria from day one and there's no sign of any change there.
The government has stated some kids will be allowed to go back to school. But parents are not obliged to send their kids if they don't want to. So there is literally no problem here. In fact it's a rare instance where parents have been left to make decisions for their own kids. As always, there are those who make their decisions and then insist on making decisions for other people too.
Children of essential workers have been at school since this crisis began. Not a single one of them has died from COVID19, in fact I'm guessing not a single child at any school has died since this began or else the media would have sensationalised the shit out of it.
In terms of adults going back to schoolwork, COVID now permanently damages the lungs, damages the brain, kidneys, liver, heart and testicles. Your BALLS. It causes your arms and legs to fall off, planes to fall from the sky, earthquakes and global warming. Plus a lot of other scary things.
So the lockdown should not be ended, probably ever.
Seems to me a lot of adults, who have minds as developed as toddlers, believe we can just go on sitting at home being paid by the government. Just keep watering the magic money tree and life's a bed of XBOX, BBQ, Netflix roses.

Good news though, one such excuse is having complete strangers over to view your home if you are selling it. Because you can't get infected if you put your house up for sale. It's the science.

tbf visiting Wales should have been made illegal years ago.Travelling to outdoor spaces in Wales and Scotland for recreation (not exercise) may result in offences being committed in those jurisdictions, and so may not be a reasonable excuse for leaving home.
They call this the new normal but it's anything but normal. It's reprehensible and the most blatant disregard of human rights since kings were lopping off heads.
An "excuse" to go out? An "excuse" to see your family? WTF? How far will this be allowed to go before there are justified riots in the streets?
