The game was a bit open in the first half but once the second half started we destroyed them. Could easily have been more than 5. A lot of quality shown all over the pitch and that caps off a solid response to the miserable week we had.

On to Spurs now. We are definitely much better than them but it will be their cup final too. We both need the wins really or our seasons will be over. This was always the key game in the run in after the Etihad. If we win then it’s likely we’re taking this to the final day.

In the mean time, hoping Brighton and Neverton and somehow nick results this week.

Got to hand it to Arteta. He picked a bunch of players that didn't look even half-way capable and made them capable. White, Havertz, Odegard, they look like bloody world-beaters now. You have to hand it to him. We wondered if he had the chops, and he obviously does. But what he's done with Saliba and Gabriel (Gabriel especially) that's something. It looks like a proper team now. The mentality issues are still there (see Villa and Munich), but the football has improved. That can't be denied. The tip-tap-tip-tap bullshit has finally, finally, fucking finally been dispelled. Mostly.
