A decision surely based almost entirely on the FA Cup win, a competition they blundered their way through and but for a fairly tight VAR decision they'd have been dumped out in embarrassing fashion in the semi-final.
They’ve been awful for so long. Tactically they offer nothing and I imagine things won’t be too much different next season. He hasn’t shown anything in 2 years that suggests they can perform at a high level consistently and this is even after spending hundreds of millions. Reminds me of Wenger’s last few years where we won the cup a few times but we knew something was inherently wrong with the team.
As long as they are nowhere near challenging for the league or CL then Ten Hag can stay as long as he likes.
