Credible? Yes but a Credible candidate isn’t going to want the empty consolation prize of a nomination in an election that is virtually sign, sealed and delivered for Trump.
There's no question Trump would have beaten Biden. I don't think it's as certain against a more credible candidate - although I'm not sure if Harris is that.
He’s got the momentum. The Democrats botched it with not making sure Biden was switched out over a year ago, the fact that they’ve stayed quiet for so long despite obvious cognitive decline reflects badly on them. Plus elections are determined by turnout (this idea of a swing voter is a myth).
Many will be thinking best to sit this one out, and go for it in 2028 after Harris bombs. I think she will do even worse than a senile Biden

Bidens cognitive decline was obvious 4 years ago. His whole coronation to the nomination was orchestrated by the DNC to hide his deficiencies from scrutiny. We told you also on these very pages. The Democrats are the most undemocratic cliche to ever play in politics. It has been their modus operandi since the 68 election when RFK was conveniently assassinated. They believe deeply that they can fool the populace indefinitely and do so with the connivance of the establishment media.
Their mendacity is coming back to bite them deeply in the arse. They placed the cock gobbler Harris there as VP knowing full well that she was an airhead that would follow instructions to the letter and then some. They never actually believed they would actually need her to step up. The injections they were giving Old Joe would surely keep working. She won't suddenly grow brains in the next 6 weeks although she might be convinced to lose the annoying cackle.
The issue now is how the internecine warfare plays out. Obama is trying to manoeuvre his way into even more direct control. Will he convince Big Mike to come out and face the glare of scrutiny?. No way they get away with that in this day and age. Will Joe and Jill spring a surprise by stepping down and putting Kamala in charge before the DNC convention leaving the Dems with the conundrum of bypassing a sitting President for the nomination. Joe and especially Jill will be out for blood. They wanted this Kafkaesque clown show charade to keep going for at least another 3 years.
In short the Dems fucked themselves...it will be hilarious to see how this plays out.
Good news for world peace now. The big losers are Ukraine and the EU. The dumbest clutch of insipid leaders in modern times all (Orban aside) found themselves following the dictates of Jake Sullivan and Antony Blinken instead of thinking whats best for their own people. The end game is in sight. The walls are tumbling down.

I love how an armchair dickhead like you thinks he knows what the people of Ukraine want, and that it just happens to coincide with your point of view.
World peace isn’t helped by turning around and whistling every time Russia takes the piss. The main reason Putin invaded Ukraine was because he knew the west would do the bare minimum to help. Even without Trump, the problem for Russia is that their military personnel is largely draftees, because a lot of them have been sent home to their babuskha mothers in plain pine boxes. No sympathy, that’s what you get when you invade other peoples countries. Got away with it in Syria because they just bombed civillians into the dust with MIG fighters.
And it’s got nothing to do with Nuclear weapons that we haven’t directly confronted Russian, it’s that the Germans haven’t curbed themselves of their addiction to Russian gas, and up until two years ago…Russian oligarchs had billions invested in both the uk and us economy.
The EU leaders are a bunch of cunts for tolerating Orban, but then again the populist right aren’t exactly that dedicated to preserving democracy and democratic norms and they justify it by inventing conspiracy theories about others.
I certainly agree with that.
There's time for Harris to turn things around. I'm not saying she will, but at least there's some chance. With Biden there is none, is cognitive issues would only have become more and more damaging to their hopes which are already hanging by a thread.
