I don't like Greg Davies' stand-up either.

Really? I mean, I'm not sure if I'd go and see him live but I've enjoyed bits I've seen. Was out with "the lads" last week, a group of ex-colleagues. One saw him doing a warm up gig in a local pub or something. and was suitably impressed.

He's still great on Taskmaster and so's she.

That's my main point. If you didn't watch TM because you weren't a fan of Greg Davies' appearances elsewhere, you're potentially missing out on something you'd actually enjoy.

Same goes for her.

Honestly I haven't watched him for a long time, so maybe his more recent stuff would be more to my taste.

I just remember not enjoying him on Live at the Apollo when he was on that.

There are others who are better as comedy actresses.

Comedy actresses sure, but let’s face it they are working to a script that’s usually written by men

It’s like with football and other things, the opportunity should always be equal. But people claiming that the aptitudes are similar are just gaslighting

I think Christopher Hitchens had it right, said being funny was more of a biological imperative for men because most of us are hugely unattractive and we need to be able to charm women with humour in order to get laid.

I think there are things women are better at than men, For example I think women make better doctors because they are less inclined to have a god complex.

Whilst it’s not Rosie Jones’ fault that she has an annoying voice, that’s a result of being deprived oxygen in the womb. But the fact remains that her voice is annoying, and whilst it’s entirely possible that this is depriving me of brilliant comedic stylings, the likelihood is that she’s no better than the majority of female comedians out there. And the kindest thing to say about them is meh
