Sounds a good idea, and perhaps a "dislike" option should complement it as well, a bit like how you can rate posts made on newspaper comment boards .
I've suggested this, GB's suggested this. Joffn is working on it.

As @TWB mentioned, this is currently being looked into as part of an older request... It's currently on-hold at the moment as a compatible plugin isn't available for this current version as yet... I'm currently looking into developing one in due course!
