It's nuts, not a massive fan of Prince myself.....not saying didn't think he was talented as obviously was hugely so, just not my cup of tea.

I think even if you're not a fan, like Bowie, you see just how wide and far his influence has been. In many ways, those two are very much connected in terms of image at the very least. This one hits even harder than Bowie for me. Never got to see him live either. Damn.

This year sucks. Was just taking about Chyna dying and the year for deaths and then this one hits. Guys a legend. Seriously talented and I wish I had seen him live.

No I definitely appreciate he was a musical genius, just not one to my taste (then again woulfnt even go as far as saying I didn't like his music as there wasn't anything to dislike about it).

My mate saw him live at Hop Farm about five years ago, I don't think he was a massive Prince fan but it left lasting impression on him said he was awesome live performer.
