Still feeling like guff. Got so much to do at work too
Wonder what shite I can find to watch today
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
Had my Paypal account hacked, some cheeky **** transferred £550 to his account. When I got the alert on my phone I hit the roof! After calling up Paypal I'm covered for things like this thankfully, nothing has been processed yet and they've advised me to cancel my direct debit with them so nothing goes through.
So I've spent my lunch break pretty much changing every password and security question I have on various sites. Had to jot all of them down because I'll never remember.

Disgraceful the way Letters treats people from here
PayPal
Awlful security
That's pretty crap but at least they caught it and you've not lost out. I remember being quite impressed with Barclays when I bought a computer and they called me to check it was legitimate as it's not every day that sort of money goes out of my account.
And yet they haven't stopped you from buying a season ticket every year?

My inbox was also bombed with thousands of spam emails when the transaction was made. The Paypal guy said the hacker probably did it so the transaction email you get when funds are sent got lost in the bombardment, so I wouldn't realise there had been activity. Lucky I had the app on my phone to send alerts otherwise I wouldn't have known right away.
Pretty pissed off but also little bit bemused, as my password and security question were fairly sound. Fuck knows how the **** managed to do it. My passwords on other sites were the same so I've changed them all now. Wake up call tbh.
Paypal really ought to have additional security measures when logging in, you'd never get into an online banking service with just a password for example.
