Was the first one as good as the hype?

What was the game closest to in style? The comics, the awesome 90s cartoon or the more recent films?

Yeah it was very good. I bought it because of the hype to see for myself and I wasn't disappointed. The Scarecrow nightmares are pretty fucking cool tbh.

It had a good mix of everything really, the enemies represented a lot of the wackiness you'd expect from the comics and cartoons and Batman himself is very dense just like the recent movies. The story is original as well, rather than just going from a movie template. It's by far and away the best superhero game ever.

    Superman 64 is better.

Seriously though, the Spider-Man games on PS1/Dreamcast were good. And Spider-Man 1 and 2 (based on the films) were too. Other than that though, most movie/tv/cartoon/comic book-based games are always cheap cash-ins.

Anybody got any good games they'd recommend for PC? Got a pretty sick new laptop about a month ago but cos I had exams I did nay have the time to play.

Was thinking of getting Starcraft 2 or something like that...

I dunno, if I were to review it I'd probably give it a 7. It's generally fun but the graphics are pretty shoddy and there is a weird glitch where one of your weapons just dissapears after dropping it. The combat is quite good though. Also props to them for effectively making the game a Half-Life 2 tribute act!
