In some ways I find Nerdle more fun because you have to work it out. And I'm more in to maths than English anyway.
I usually use the first couple to find/elimiate as many digits as I can, and it's important to find out where the equals goes. After that I'm usually on the right track. Often takes a bit of thinking about
