Mine was the same. But luckily I got some family help.

Eat all you can afford (nothing) and then go back home a malnourished, barely-conscious waif and tell them you couldn't afford to eat. Rub dirt in your face and soil yourself for maximum effect.

That's why I got on better with maths 'cos if you're right, you're right and there's no arguing about it.

I used to love reading when I was at Primary School but English at school rather killed the joy for me, it was only when I started commuting and had time to kill I re-discovered a love of reading

    School
When I emigrated to Ireland from Canada I started school in the last term of 4th year. My English Lit teacher told me to read a book that the class had just finished and were analysing. I never got round to reading it, I just listened to the bollox they were saying about it in class. When there was a test on it, I came 2nd in the class.

Just shows that Canadians are gooder at English then the Irish.

    I want a holiday.

    Still 4 months to wait.

Sodding off to Estonia for a long weekend next month, and I suppose we have Christmas.

    Days are getting longer.

    Summer over.

This is the last of it. Rain coming in towards the end of the week, and then it's all down hill from there.

Doesn't look too bad in NY

And we've had a good run this year.

    I know.

I'm just in one of those moods.

I need something to look forward to.

Aside from the birth of my child, my marriage and multiple holidays, stag dos and a honeymoon next year.

    It sucks!
