Road Salt Two is out this month too. Same release date as Steven Wilson's solo album I think.
I am not sure what to expect from Road Salt Two, PoS last album was a bit too raw for my liking (or perhaps to lazy). I like A Dramatic Turn of Events is very good IMO, better than the last 2 albums. I hope Portnoy will work his magic and convince Neil Morse to write another album for Transatlantic huhu..
I heard Andrew Latimer is also back in studio, hopefully they will play again next year. Camel's reunion will be massive imo, bigger than Cream's reunion in 2005.

I really liked Road Salt, I wouldn't call it lazy - I can understand you not liking it though, it is probably a bit raw in production but that fits in to the concept (as per usual for Gildenlow), I believe it is 70's based and that is clearly the type of sound/production they have gone for. I'll give ADToE another listen of course, there are two songs I did instantly like - Bridges in the Sky and Outcry.
Breaking all illusion is the best imo, Myung wrote that song. You can definitely hear the old stuff from the 90s in this song. Build me up, crash me down is pretty cool to.
