I haven't posted in here in a while, been very busy with work and family stuff.

Tomorrow's game is a MUST win for us if we want to challenge for the title this season. Anything other than a win and I am pretty much ready to wave the white flag.

This season has been a painful watch for me so far as I really did fancy us for the title. The run of tough fixtures and injuries have screwed our season so far. There are other factors such as some of Arteta's decision making with the team / tactics and some very questionable ref / var decisions earlier in the season, but it is what it is.

We all know what this team is capable of and we are close to getting a fully fit squad, but they have to turn up now and start performing and winning on a consistent basis, we have no room for error now if we want to challenge for the title, we need to go on a deep winning run!

Given our current form, I am quite worried about tomorrows game, I don't know what Arsenal will turn up.

In theory that's a good team, am a bit worried about playing Rice though, especially as it gives us no excuse to keep him out of the upcoming England games

Replace Timber with Calafiori (who unfortunately is injured) and that would be our strongest team. Timber is probably the weak link of that team because he’s not inclined to get forward, nor is he particularly good on the ball

I think this is our best XI but even then I don't particularly like a Partey/Rice/Odegaard midfield.

Seems to perform worse than the sum of its parts but I suppose that's not unchartered territory for us right now.

Don’t agree Calafiori is a far better player than Timber…most of our attacks will once again be down the right because Timber will rarely get forward.

The problem isn’t so much the players in the triumvirate you mentioned. It’s that they are played the wrong way round. Rice should be playing 6 and Partey further forward at 8 as he’s better at pressing and passing than Rice

Calm down, I'm just saying it doesn't help if his injury is exacerbated playibg for England and we lose him for a longer period
