Centre mid is probably the last position I thought we needed to strengthen. If Giroud, Sagna or one of Merts/Kos pick up a serious injury in the 2nd half of the season we are utterly fucked.

Neither surprised or disappointed,its par for the course really,this clubs board and manager are totally focused on a top four slot so why spend big money to bring in the talent that the fans and every man and his dog knows is required to have a chance of maybe winning when its not a priority.I'm sure they have looked at City and like a lot of others think they will be very difficult to finish above anyway so why chuck money away.
