Political systems can and should evolve over time. That said, the US has moved past the point of being united states. That ship has sailed.

The political system there is not democratic and almost no one there is happy or content with the democratic system. Pelvis may come out with bullshit like the USA is a beacon of democracy for the world, but noone believes that.

Sure there should be limitations over federal power, but for a federal election, just count the fucking votes. Even if states allocated their quotas based on their own popular votes, that would be more satisfactory.

The entire system is a mess and some states probably should go their own ways.

Or, get rid of the federal (communist) system. The farther away "representation" moves the more counter intentional it becomes. Let the crazies in New York and California do what they want to do, and suffer the consequence. That's the definition of freedom. But they shouldn't be permitted to drag decent human beings down to their level.

Well that would likely solve the Mexican border crisis for most of the southern states, because they’d be third world in no time. In fact many of them are already nearly there such is the competency of their governance. The result?
