    To be fair wasn't this a march from a game they'd just been to to a pub they were going to anyway?

    Dunno. I find 60,000 fans booing and spouting verbal abuse a far more effective proponent of change tbh.

    Yep, heard about the protest but it's about the season ticket hike. Some fans have been going to the games for years and simply can't afford the increase. It was mentioned on most of the blogs in the run up.

    Wenger doesn't mention profit as such, but there are times when he justifies our spending decisions and lack of success in the league by pointing to the balance sheet, claiming we're a well functioning "business" and worse of all, he responded angrily to at the AGM meeting in 2009, claiming shareholders have nothing to complain about, because they've had a good return on their investment. What Wenger doesn't realise is that owning shares in a football club is different to owning shares in Microsoft. It's when he makes comments like this does it really piss off fans, because he's acting more like a free market fundamentalist than a football manager.
