Gerrard was undoubtedly a terrific player, but I don't really see the point in him any more. He doesn't have the same running power that he used to, and he's far less effective for it.
Gerrard is an utter prick and typifies scousers apart from some of the gooduns I know, and SiB. He is a ****. I hate him and he denied Oxlade's transfer value from doubling by stealing that shot away in the Euros. He also had a go at Theo's selection in WC 06. Hope he has to suffer the indignity of spending a season on the bench while shit like Shelvey are on the pitch.

But yes, Shelveysingh does seem to be the natural successor to Gerrard.
