Tbf, we won the Summer Transfer Window with Pepe.

And United have been winning at transfers for about seven seasons.

They're still slagging us off. It's beyond belief.

Newcastle "somehow" ended up on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline.

The some and the how was probably down to us having twice as much as them on every game stat. Then there were the 4 goals. Goes a long way to explaining it.

Nevertheless, lucky 4-0. So, so close.

Couldn't have written today's script better if I tried!!

A great day and I haven't felt this buzzing feeling for quite a while.

Now I think today's result was mainly down to the positive gamble the coach took in almost every aspect of the team but in particular the decision to play Ozil and Ceballos together, something some of us have cried out for.

Yes I know we definitely have not been solid in the midfield this whole season but playing 3 or 4 defensive central midfielders at the same time was never going to work for the Arsenal or solve our problems. Playing creative midfielders and players will always be us playing to our strength, yeah we didn't start that great but look at the way we finished, we were so natural, it was almost like the good old days under AW.

Clearly the Dubai getaway wasn't a waste of time, I think all the players impressed today including Xhaka, though I must admit I was angry the coach didn't take him off after his yellow as I was sure he wouldn't be able to stop himself from getting a red... but lo and behold, he seems to be on the path to true repentance.

Also another decision I thought the coach got wrong after like 20-30 mins of the game was leaving Saka on when he was practically losing every 50-50 battle, bring on battle hardened Kola I kept screaming, and hey was I wrong about that!! The boy's positivity is a joy and I'm loving him more and more each day. Easily my MOTM.

And finally Laca's 10 minute cameo- which I hope will be a watershed 10 mins for him this season. Yes Marlo gave it his all and was postive, running all around, but he had no business starting this game, especially in the situation where we are in where we need all 3 points. That and maybe starting Torriera with Danny are probably the only decisions I would definitely still change. Anyway class is class, he made the 10 mins count with a difficult assist and a strikers goal ... and the celebration after the goal was just beautiful.

So a great day for the Arsenal and our much maligned but needed players like Ceballos, Ozil and Laca. A great day and well done to the Rookie!!

No one likes us, we don't care

Still not sure how we turned that team selection and first half display into a 4-0, but i did notice Auba was playing more centrally in the second half, and from the post-match comments it seems that was deliberate.

Really pleased for Saka and Pepe, also Ozil and i have to say Ceballos was very good

Leno must just be grateful he's no longer wiping himself out every game just to try to keep us in it.
