He's a very good finisher and to be honest, I'd love us to have someone who's task is just to put the ball in the back of the net, non of the other fancy pointless stuff Wenger rates over finishing, a striker is there to score goals, if he does that's good enough for me.
If we had a finisher like Kane we would have strolled to the title this year. We've been blessed in the past to have great goal scorers who also happen to be great all round forwards but strikers like that only come round a few times in a generation. As a result we now place too much importance on "link up play" but if you have the playmakers in place like we already do, then all you need is someone to come alive in the box and that's what we're missing.

Van horseface scored about 3 times outside the box in his entire career. The mug was still lethal though.
England: Forster; Walker, Smalling, Stones, Rose; Drinkwater, Milner, Vardy, Barkley, Lallana; Sturridge
Subs: Clyne, Heaton, Walcott, Cahill, Jagielka, Henderson, Dier, Kane, Alli, Welbeck.
Netherlands: Zoet; Veltman, Bruma, Blind, Willems; Wijnaldum, Bazoer, Afellay; Promes, Janssen, Memphis.
Dixon, Wright and Wazza in the studio.
Asking Wazza how it will be to captain the team in a major tournament; isn't that just clamouring for him to start basically?
Should have been a pelanty against Rose.
England 1-0 Netherlands, Vardy.
Pelanty to Netherlands!
Rose.
1-1 Jansen!
Why is Danny Rose playing at international level? Has Woy let anyone into the secret?
