Managing PM's is slow as fuck for me, takes ages which is quite annoying while trying to manage 40 football managers, at least 5 of whom are well, a bit thick

We're looking at it.
It could be we'll need to upgrade the hosting to a dedicated server, it seems the shared one Jofnn is using isn't up to it (although tbh I find that surprising as this isn't a hugely busy site so maybe something else is going on).

we're not oblivious to the problems though and we'll fix them asap so we can start to push the site.

I think the bottom line is the hosting Jofnn uses isn't up to it. We're looking at a dedicated server, if some of us split the cost between us it shouldn't be too onerous for anyone.

Its very slow for me too. Sometimes the pages just lock up and I have cancel the window and open a new one just to get anywhere.
