Hamilton is just an unbelievable driver.
He might not have the fastest car but when hte pressure is on, he just relentlessly puts in perfect laps getting the maximum out of the car & tyres.
It just puts huge amounts of pressure on the chasing driver who has to be perfect in response and we have seen in previous years that Vettel, Bottas & others make mistakes at the key points.
Verstappen will be a threat though this season, it should be cracking title race
